Two years in the making...
World's Largest Selection of Thimble Styles and Sizes (Really? Yes, pretty much.) 6 new styles available now (3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 below)—the rest as soon as we can post them!
More than Ten New Thimble Styles in 9 Sizes At first glance this page might not look like much. But you are viewing what could be the largest selection of thimble styles and sizes available anywhere online. Most shops offer thimble styles in just small, medium, and large. We currently offer you a well organized selection of fourteen thimble styles in various sizes. At least five of those styles are available in 9 sizes. Yes, we said nine sizes. When all the thimbles in our new shipment are posted, you will be able to choose from more than ten different thimble styles in 9 sizes.
Easy-to-Find Styles and Sizes
You might stumble across shops that offer a broader selection of styles than our little store. But more often than not they're merely thimble "farms" showing a scattering of random thimble styles and sizes with little or no information about the products. So finding the kind of thimble you need in the right size is rather hit or miss.
Which Thimble is Best for You?
The thimbles in our shop are carefully organized to make them easy to find. And we strive to provide the information you need to make an informed buying choice. Just scroll down to examine our collection of thimbles neatly arranged by category.

New Thimble Styles!
The shop recently received a large shipment of eleven thimble styles ranging in size from 13 to 20 mm. That's big news for anyone looking for sewing thimbles that fit. Below is a list of the eleven styles. Believe it or not, this collection represents what might be the most comprehensive selection of thimbles and sizes available to the public. It took two years to assemble this collection. And we are currently in the process of posting the thimbles online. But day-to-day operations keep us bogged down and spread too thin, so the process is quite slow. We need help. So if you know someone qualified for our Copywriter/Ecommerce Marketing position, please send them our way!
Our new thimble styles each come in 9 sizes, except the Flexible Rubber Grip thimbles which come in "only" four sizes (S, M, L, XL). That's right, you can choose from ten new thimble styles in 9 sizes, and the Flexible Rubber Grip style in four sizes. No other shop offers a greater selection. At least that is what customers tell us. So if you are tired of chasing down fabric shops only to find one or two sewing thimble styles in just small, medium, and large, then congratulations—because you've come to the right place. So browse the shop and examine the collection. If we don't have the size you want, then it probably does not exist. Clickable styles listed below are available for immediate purchase.
How Many Thimbles do you Need? The number of thimbles you need for each hand is a personal preference. Most players use 3 thimbles (index, middle and ring fingers). Others add a 4th thimble to their pinky. Many prefer just 2 thimbles (index and middle fingers). Some players use just one thimble (typically index or middle finger). However, many players use 4 thimbles on their fingers, plus a large 5th thimble (typically 18 mm to 20 mm) on their thumb for a "full-house" of 5 thimbles. You can achieve greater musical color with more thimbles than less. But the optimum number of thimbles depends on the musical genre, type of thimble (wood, plastic, metal, horn), your personal playing style, and ultimately—what works best for you.
