They live and work in the small East Texas town of Crockett (named for the Tennessee legend who passed by on his way to the Alamo).

Originally from Yonkers, Guy and Pipp moved out west to take over the family cattle ranch. The talented brothers brought their musical abilities with them and have spent a lifetime playing gigs from coast to coast. They have toured England and even represented the State of Texas at the World Expo in Japan.

The brothers operate the Camp Street Cafe & Store featuring cowboy music and poetry - and revitalized the spirit of blues legend Lightnin' Hopkins in the process.

Old-Time Music with a Relaxed Western Flavor
Gillette Brothers at BFXI This delightful cd honors the slower paced life of the cowboy from the Old West. The eclectic mix of music celebrates Celtic roots music, country blues, minstrel tunes and medicine show songs played in the style of the East Texas range.
