This pair of wooden minstrel style bones was acquired in November 2018 from a nice lady in Sparrow Bush, New York.
"Belonged to my husband's great uncle who passed them to his uncle who passed them on to my husband. Used to be played at family gatherings."

Description

Smooth black stained wooden finish, probably maple or mahogany. Excellent condition. This set was associated with the four vintage minstrel style sets listed below.
How Old Are They?
They probably date from the American amateur minstrel period which flourished from the 1920s to 1950s.
