THURSDAY - October 16, 2008 (Pre Fest)

3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Sightseeing cruise on the "Tom Sawyer" riverboat.
Location: Riverfront

5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
RBS press conference.
Location: Crowne Plaza Lobby Lounge

7:30 PM to midnight
Bones pre-fest pub crawl through historic Laclede's Landing.
Location: Downtown Saint Louis

FRIDAY - October 17, 2008

12:00 noon to 8:00 PM
Bones Museum, Learning Center, Market Place and Fest
Registration.
Location: Museum Room, Provincial House, South Campus,
University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL)

2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Open House reception, boning, and banding together. Hosted
by the "Dormers."
Location: Provincial House dorm lobbies and court yard,
UMSL.

5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Optional group excursion to the "Delmar Loop", two MetroLink
train stops away for dinner and drinks. Or eat on campus.
Location: University City, or UMSL

6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Bones U. presents Rhythm Bones 101 (History and technique)
for beginners. Team taught. Open to the Public. Sign up and
acquire bones at the Museum Room.
Location: Provincial House, UMSL

7:30 PM to 10 PM
Bones Fest XII grand opening, Gil Hibben promenade, first
time presentations, production and rehearsals for our
Saturday public presentations.
Location: Marillac Auditorium, UMSL

10:00 PM to 1:00 AM
Voluntary Bones pub crawl through Delmar Loop. MetroLink
train is the designated driver.
Location: University City

Saturday - October 18, 2008

9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Bones Museum, Market Place and Fest Registration open to the
public all day.
Location: Museum Room, Provincial House, UMSL.

9:00 AM to 12 noon
Bones University in session. Register at the Museum Room for
intermediate and advanced workshops, bones playing, bones
making and playing with Irish and other Celtic music.
Location: Provincial House, UMSL.

12:00 AM to 2:00 PM
All aboard the MetroLink train from the South Campus Station
to Union Station. Bones Fest public show (1:00 PM to 1:45
PM) Directed by Walt Watkins. You may purchase your lunch in
the Union Station food court or bring a sack lunch.
Location: Downtown Saint Louis

2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
BF XII splits into two minstrel troupes--
Troupe A (street performers):
March to Soldier's Memorial (4 blocks) for a public show
(show time, 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM). Then we march 12 blocks
with the Bones Show banner down the mall, through the Serra
Sculpture, through Kiener Plaza, through the "Dred Scott"
Federal Court House, under the Gateway Arch and to the
Mississippi River Front. There we will greet Troupe B as
they return from their riverboat cruise with much fanfare,
flag waving, and bones playing.

Troupe B (riverboat cruise):
Leave Union Station by train and auto and go directly to the
river front and board the "Tom Sawyer" for a 3:00 PM to 4:00
PM riverboat cruise. ($10/adult, $5/child with group of 20
or more).

4:00 PM to 4:30 PM
Group Photo under the Gateway Arch.
Location: Riverfront

5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Open house and reception for all participants, Hosted by our
first class passengers.
Location: Crowne Plaza Hotel.

8:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Grand Bones Fest show open to the public ending with the
traditional Gil Hibben rhythm bones promenade.
Location: Marillac Auditorium, UMSL

11:00 PM to wee hours
Bones musical pub crawl for the young and foolish.
Location: tba

Sunday - October 19, 2008
(We have a list of 4 churches walking distance of UMSL.)

9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Delicious brunch buffet complete with Starbucks coffee
served in the "Under Croft" multi-purpose room. A fine
fare-thee-well show!
Location: Provincial House "Under Croft" multi-purpose
room, UMSL

1:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Octoberfest riverboat cruise ($35/adult, $15/child) Bone and
Oomp-pa-pa down the Mississippi to the sounds of a live
German band and savor an authentic German buffet.
